UrbanGeekz debuts news show ‘Geekz Watch’ with fresh-faced host Published by Claudia Offei
UrbanGeekz, a groundbreaking digital news platform, has launched its very own weekly news show. Geekz Watch, which debuts on the site today, is a round-up of the best and latest tech, business, science, and startup news, and much more.
The program will appear on the homepage of urbangeekz.com and also feature prominently on the brand’s social media sites. The show is an original in-house production and a perfect extension of the online platform that’s steadily growing in popularity.
New episodes of #GeekzWatch will initially air on an infrequent basis prior to becoming a regular weekly addition to UrbanGeekz’s fast-growing portfolio. The editorial team is confident that they will secure on-screen interviews with high-flying entrepreneurs, technologists, and business leaders.
Randi Bohler kicks off the launch as the face of the brand new show. Bohler is a young talented multimedia journalist and collegiate level track star who slays both on and off the field. As the show develops there will be opportunities for other talented reporters.

UrbanGeekz recently partnered with Business RadioX for a new radio show that spotlights minority trailblazers and ambitious leaders. Tinuoye is the is the on-air host of Minority Business Report.
Founded in 2015, UrbanGeekz is a pioneering African-American, Latino, and multicultural online platform focused on technology, science, business, and entrepreneurship.
The website offers reviews, interviews, commentary, and original video on startups, geek gadgets, social media, scientific advancements, entrepreneurship, and insight into Silicon Valley and the global technology industry. The first-of-its-kind online publication also provides authoritative lifestyle and entertainment content.
The editorial and production team is based at Atlanta Tech Village, the largest tech startup incubator and co-working space in the Southeast. In recent months several stories on the website have gone viral, including an exclusive on Tuloko app and a write up 10 Mobile Apps we should know about created by African-Americans .
